Gower Street Practice

Receptionists are so rude.

I haven't had an appointment here yet, but I just wanted to praise the excellent receptionist I spoke to. I arrived in tears having had an horrendous experience at the Gower Place Practice around the corner and looking to register elsewhere. She handed me some tissues and showed me how to look at reviews of GP practices in my area (which is when I discovered that Gower Place, the UCL practice, is rated as "among the worst"). She was very sympathetic and printed me off a list of local GPs who were taking on new patients, with their respective reviews, to look through. She also suggested that a lady who was filling in a form at the desk did so in the waiting room, which I was really grateful of because I couldn't stop crying and it was really embarrassing. I will be registering with this practice at the next opportunity.
