Waiting for a repeat prescription for two weeks. Eventually went to surgery on 2nd February, was told they will phone the prescription to my local chemist that afternoon. Now it’s Saturday 4th February and the chemist hasn’t received the prescription.
- Firstly, when I asked for the repeat prescription you should have told me that as the last time it was prescribed was some time ago I need to see the GP. Instead I lost a week waiting, to be told I have to phone the following day to arrange an appointment. That was given to me in two weeks time. I managed to buy the medication online but the quantity will not last till my appointment. The issue is vertigo. If I don’t control it with medication I can’t leave the house and have a pretty bad time indoors.

Some of the kindest and most supportive doctors I have ever had in my lifetime. Sometimes a bit of a wait to get through to reception but if you need help that day you WILL get it. Receptionists have also been extremely kind and helpful towards me when I have been distressed on the phone due to the pain and stress of an ongoing condition. Dr Coombs and Ann Marie (phlebotomist/nurse) really deserve special mentions for the way in which they have treated me, listened to me and provided the best of care when I really needed it.
- Phone system a bit annoying, would be good not to have to queue for the repeat prescription line but best just to call at less busy times!

A superb GP practice which saved my life. The GPs are committed to delivering a very high standard of medical care and appear genuinely interested in their patients.
