This surgery is appalling lazy staff Doctors appointment is impossible too get, the total ethos and working practices at this surgery are uncaring,unprofessional,lazy with an rude attitude!!!!!

  • Yea sack all tge staff recruit new staff or close tge surgery as its nit fit for purpose!!

Dr Rahmanzai offered excellent care, I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed, he listened patiently and was thoughtful in his response.

You have to fill a online form in even if its urgent in the hope of getting an appointment that day. But the receptionist Rachel was lovely apologised for the mistake and tried her best to make sure I got an appointment that day, turns out the clinician makes all phone calls late in the day so no chance of being seen even if you are in agony.

  • Asked for face to face due to nature of problem and was given a pointless tel call. Anything that physically needs to be seen, ie neck or shoulder problem should always be face to face, no good having a tel call then having a face to face appointment at a later date so you are left in agony for longer just doesn't make sense.

Terrible practice with rude reception staff who gatekeep the appointments, give you misleading info and just generally seem to be annoyed that you are unable to use their convoluted online form, some of us just want to book an appointment at the earliest time possible. I have been a patient for nearly ten years and it just gets worse, it seems that everything is designed to limit access, take the phone line for instance, you are forced to listen to two whole minutes of waffle telling you you need to listen to all the options before you can make a choice even if your choice is at 30 seconds you still have to wait the whole two minutes to get through, it is this kind of toxic and pernicious desire to micro manage that is just infuriating, I dare to think how older less tech savvy people will do, this is a reflection of how the surgery or much more importantly how the appointment system is in a totally dysfunctional state.

When you are ill you want to speak to someone not fill in a form. This causes so much stress to a person already unwell.

  • It’s absolutely terrible you can’t phone up and make an appointment and have to fill in on line form. What if you aren’t on line.

Telephoning the surgery is a very frustrating experience - especially for the older patient. Eventually, I got to speak to a real person - THIS IS WHAT WE NEED - automated responses are unfriendly and can be confusing (again, for the older patient). Your receptionist was lovely and I could explain exactly what my issue was. Please can we go back to a real life person answering the telephone.

Hard to get through via telephone but its understandable as its busy klinik form more convenient but triaging can take a little while especially when you urgently need to be seen but overall not that long enough that you end up at A&E. Helpful system overall who thought of it is a genius.

  • My surgery Southville surgery coronation road always does well can't fault them nothing I can think of that could be done better perhaps maybe provide masks at the waiting area or a Box that might offer some on display as we all sit in very tight spacing area not much ventilated and you could well end up getting passed something possibly airbourne incase spreadable so is a slight concern that is all but as the surgery is small is understandable that space can be tight.
