When referred to a consultant, as an NHS patient I was given a choice of hospital. I chose the Park Hospital for a number of reasons. Proximity to my home, ease of access for me and my family, reputation and size.
The outpatient care and the inpatient care is exemplary. The premises are spotlessly clean. The Receptionists, Nursing staff, Anesthetist. Porters, Physiotherapists and Mr Mersich, Consultant, all have treated me with the utmost respect, care and support throughout 2 procedures in the last 9 months. The food provided is of the highest quality. The experience when feeling very vulnerable was first class and I would recommend to anyone.

Saw my consultant who discussed my case and told me what i needed, got a quote for the surgery, all good. then got a call from the admissions team to tell me it was going to cost an extra £2750 due to me needing "extra" care post op, this came as a shock and at a cost I couldn't afford, so cancelled. As a matter of courtesy I contacted the Surgeon to tell him why I had cancelled, and he was shocked at what I told him, to his great Credit he sorted it out for me and the extra charge was dropped. operation then went without a hitch.

I had my gallbladder removed at The Park Hospital on Tuesday. The hospital itself is lovely and spotlessly clean but what truly makes this hospital special is the staff. Every single one of them provided exceptional care from the second I checked in until the moment the lovely porter helped me in to the car later that day. Thank you all. Fantastic team and care.

Fantastic care by all staff from start to finish from receptionists to consultant M I Mersich. I cannot fault the organisation throughout my care. The timeline on seeing my consultant to having my procedures was incredibly short. Cannot thank you enough.

All staff from Reception, through to nursing and aftercare were most attentive and helpful and made my stay quite pleasant in the circumstances. Even on my return visits for physio, if any doctor, nurse or anyone else recognised me there would be a cheerful ‘hello’ and enquiry as to how I was progressing.
