If you want a doctor who listens to you and takes the time to understand how your problems are affecting your every day life, then you are in very good hands with Mr Frank Lee. He is very thorough and keen to use the least invasive treatments at first, before recommending for example surgery. I am very happy with his care and would highly recommend him.

I have had an anterior infarction of the spinal chord at T4. I am under the care of Mr Lee at RNOH. On my first consultation he thoroughly explained everything connected to my condition, and the treatment plan he would like to follow. Mr Lee even consulted a cardiologist to make sure the medication he wished to prescribe would not interfere with my Atrial Fibrillation. Any questions I had during the consultation he answered to my complete satisfaction. I have confidence and trust in Mr Lee to give me the best advice and treatment while I am under his care.

Mr Lee is an outstanding consultant who combines his considerable knowledge and skill with professionalism, sensitivity and empathy. During the first consultation, Mr Lee listened carefully to my concerns. As my symptoms were not straightforward he recommended a series of tests which were comprehensive without any being superfluous. At the follow-up consultation, Mr Lee explained the results of the tests clearly, and thoughtfully, and allowed me to ask a range of questions without hurrying me. I found Mr Lee's overall approach to be honest, deeply skilful and genuinely caring. I highly recommend Mr Lee and feel very lucky to have had the benefit of such a kind and gifted urologist.

I had my first phone appointment with Mr Frank Lee as I live a long way from the hospital which was perfect for me. I was very anxious before my appointment as iv not had a great time with previous doctors with my CES as it’s very complex and other doctors don’t understand it yet Mr Lee was absolutely fantastic!. He totally listened to me and my concerns and took my experience of my condition all on board. He fully understood and worked out a plan of action after I told him of an extra problem I’m experiencing with my bladder and he listened and didn’t blind me with medical jargon or scare me but advised of tests that need doing to make sure there isn’t any serious problems in my bladder as in a growth. He gave me full advice and explained the whole process reassuring me and my partner 100%. I’m now awaiting the appointment to go into hospital for the tests. I so so wish all doctors were as knowledgable as Mr Frank Lee but also as caring, understanding, straightforward and also non robotic as he had a warming slight humour too which was totally professional and put me at ease and made me feel like I’m a human and not just the next person on a long line who needs help. So in all an amazing doctor who is a credit to himself his profession and Stanmore hospital as they are very lucky to have him and so are his patients.

This consultant talked me through the procedure with an informed manner, was very open to all my questions and comments, explained the aftercare excellently. He came to see me in the post op room and once again his manner was the best.
