I cannot recommend Rachel Holt highly enough. Miss Holt was recommended to me by two separate breast surgeons when I decided to have an immediate reconstruction. As they said, she brings her combination of experience as a breast and a plastics surgeon. Her handiwork is excellent and she has taken care to leave an impressive result. Rachel explained all my options clearly, including a realistic insight into the short and long term advantages of each reconstruction option. She is one of a few surgeons offering the DIEP reconstruction and is an expert Throughout the decision making and the treatment, Rachel has been a delight. She is engaging and takes time to explain clearly. She was the first surgeon who made me feel it was ok to consider both the health outcomes (ie lose the cancer) and the aesthetics ( what will I look like after) as absolutely equally important. I trust Rachel totally. She always contacted me when expected and was good enough to respond to emails in between. I also liked that she included my cancer surgeon in the operation and kept him informed.( He told me later how impressed he was with her work,) I feel lucky to have found her. Thank you Rachel

I thoroughly researched my surgeon before I had my surgery, and Rachel came highly recommended. From the moment I walked through her door for my initial appointment I felt at ease with her. She was understanding of what I wanted but very realistic with the outcome I could expect. Rachel was aware I was going on holiday in February and that I was keen to have my procedure before this trip, she worked her magic and fitted me in early January so I could show off my new more shapely legs on the beach. Rachel’s approach is very personable and she is available to contact at any time, which still continues today, her after care is outstanding. Its such a big decision to have an operation that is for cosmetic reasons and I would absolutely highly recommend Rachel as your surgeon. I feel so much more confident and I really wish that I had done this 10 years ago!!!. Thank you Rachel.

From the very first meeting with Rachel Holt, I felt very comfortable in discussing my needs and in what I wanted to achieve. Rachel was very easy to chat to and understood on ever level what I needed doing. If you are looking for the best Plastic Surgeon, look no further, you have found her! After a breast cancer diagnosis I underwent a single mastectomy and immediate implant surgery at my local hospital. Unfortunately, due to skin necrosis and infection I lost the implant and had to have a local skin graft procedure to close the cavity. Over time and healing this became tightly adhered to my ribs and pectoral muscle with scar tissue causing me chronic pain and great restriction in the movement of my right arm and shoulder. I had resigned myself to living flat on that side after undergoing two major operations as at least I was now cancer free but it soon became apparent that I could not live with the pain and restriction. I saw several plastic surgeons in different areas as the necessary surgery was not available to me locally but unfortunately none of them could give me the confidence that they could solve my problems with surgery. I received several conflicting opinions which was very confusing. That was, until I found Rachel! It was a two hour drive to see Rachel but after meeting her at my first consultation I knew I had found the right person to help me. Rachel was confident, positive, optimistic and professional but also friendly, down to earth, kind and understanding. Rachel assured me that she could definitely improve my situation and I believed her. I feel so thankful to have had Rachel personally helping me throughout the whole process, I have never experienced such amazing personal contact and support from a healthcare professional before. I underwent the Diep Breast Reconstruction Surgery with in January. This was my third major surgery and the biggest yet but I can honestly say that on the day I was totally at ease as I knew that I was in the best hands and had every confidence in Rachel and her team. I cannot express how delighted I am with the results of my surgery, Rachel has totally surpassed all my expectations of how I would look and feel afterwards. I am already relatively pain free, I am regaining movement in my arm and shoulder, I have a perfectly neat and well healed scar on my now flat tummy and I have an amazing new well healed breast perfectly matched to the other! I would not hesitate to recommend Rachel to anyone requiring plastic surgery, I feel very lucky to have had her perform the surgery which has given me my life back with amazing results after my cancer journey, she has made such a difference to me. It has also been an absolute pleasure to meet her, she balances being very professional and passionate in her work with having the compassion of a friend.

Rachel put me at ease on our first meeting. She was very knowledgable, courteous and easy to talk to. She didn't rush any of the consultations and ensured I had the time to ask any questions which were explained in great detail and gave me complete peace of mind.
