All the cancer team were very caring, supportive and kind and I have nothing but praise for them. Miss Kirkpatrick, who performed my mastectomy/goldilocks procedure discussed the process with me in great detail and although it was a very worrying time for me, she and Francis, my MacMillan nurse put me at ease and they managed to calm most of my fears. The after care I have received has been second to none and I don't think the system needs any improvement as far as I am concerned.

Miss Kirkpatrick and her team including all at the breast screening clinic have been so kind and caring and although a very anxious time for me they have spoken to me with a very positive attitude which is extremely reassuring and I have every confidence in them. They have answered any questions, they have made time for me and they have provided a great deal of useful written information and the fact that I have a nurse who I can call on any time is absolutely fantastic. With all the reports about the NHS over the past few months, so far I cannot praise highly enough the medics and support staff I have come into contact with and the efficiency of the L& D Hospital. Thank you

Dr Kirkpatrick was very kind and reassuring and her staff were also considerate, making a worrying experience less stressful. I cannot thank the staff at the breast clinic enough and think we are very fortunate to have such an amazing department of the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

The doctor and all the staff at my appointment for breast screening recently were attentive and kind. Fortunately, the results were negative and no further treatment was required, but as you can imagine I was very anxious and concerned. Throughout the mammogram and ultrasound procedure staff were very helpful understanding and this is so important to patients. I just wanted to say, thank you to all of you for what you do.
