My name is Susan McQuinn. I have twice received surgery performed by Dr. Kirkpatrick, on both occasions she was of excellent support to me and my serious medical condition. Her perfection in surgery left me with very little scarring and great relief in her treatment and kind attitude towards me. I felt both secure in her care and privileged to receive her medical expertise. She was considerate, kind and very gentle towards me during a very shocking and fearful time. I am very indebted to her skills and appreciative of her regard towards my anxiety and my family's concern for my future state of returning to good health, which she has been responsible for.

I was seen by Miss Kirkpatrick after being diagnosed with breast cancer at routine screening.Miss Kirkpatrick explained everything to me and I was pleased that she would be doing my surgery.Surgery went well.All the treatment at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital has been excellent.Miss Kirkpatrick and all the staff have been very good at there job and have also been very caring .They have been there to answer any questions .I am now continuing my treatment in the oncology department .This has also been excellent.

Miss Kirkpatrick made sure I had all the checks when I saw her having found something that worried me. Because of her care, another tumour was also found which nobody could feel. If I had not been given those checks, I could still have had cancer developing. The surgery was very neat and the care was excellent. Unfortunately I had complications after surgery, through no fault of the medical staff, but Miss Kirkpatrick has spent time to sort everything for me. She has been willing to listen to my concerns after a very difficult time, not just because I had cancer, and I would recommend her and the other staff very highly. I have nothing but praise for the care i have received.

Miss Kirkpatrick recently dealt with my breast cancer treatment and surgery. She was very thorough with her preparation for the surgery and the actual surgery was very neat. She explained why she was taking certain actions and I had faith in her experience and judgement. Her team of nurses are also extremely helpful and explain matters well.
