Sefaakor Ahiaku

Today I completed my clear aligner experience which was really good, my dentist Sefa was amazing and took care of me on my teeth makeover at SmileWorks. I was also having regular check-ins, where I would send progress pictures, and if I had any issues I would let them know at that check-in, and my dentist, Sefa would get in touch within a couple of days. The communication we had was great. I love my teeth thank you so much. I recommend her 1000% and her lovely assistant Becca too.

Absolutely amazing at what she does. Can not fault her work at all. Made me feel at ease straight away and had a pain free, quick and easy tooth extraction. I no longer feel anxious about visiting the dentist. Thank you so much. Alanah x

Sefa has been a breath of fresh air to cosmetic dentistry to me. Her, along with her assistants, have just been BRILLIANT. I was seen at Northway Dental Practice, at 44 Northway in Maghull. However, this doesn't appear to be an option in the pull-down menu, below. Sefa has given me amazing new teeth (top six and bottom six) and will continue to review. She has provided me with whitening trays, to lighten my back teeth, so that, eventually, we can then replace my silver fillings and replace a couple of old crowns. She is a total joy to be with in the surgery, always making me laugh (even when I can't talk because she's working!). I would 100% recommend Sefa. My family and friends, and I, are now able to look at what amazing teeth I have. Thank you, Sefa.

I visited Dr Sefa Ahiaku for a dental checkup which was long overdue, and I was surprised by how pleasant the whole experience was! Throughout the checkup, Dr Sefa took her time to not only explain each action she was about to perform, but also listen to how I was feeling during each step of the way. This helped me quickly trust her expertise, and at no point did I feel uncertain or uncomfortable. Dr. Sefa showed true professionalism, and balanced this by being very jovial - she and her nurse even traded a few jokes to keep the mood light. I am deeply impressed by Dr. Sefa, and I would recommend her to anyone looking to have dental work done.

Since I can remember, I have always been terrified of going to the dentist. As a result of this, the condition of my teeth has deteriorated over the years. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Sefaakor having experiencing the worst toothache ever! She was aware of how much pain I was in and that my anxiety levels were through the roof, but Sefaakor put me completely at ease with her lovely caring way. She was brilliant! Today was my last visit for three months, and could not recommend this lovely lady highly enough. Because of Sefaakor I will not dread my next appointment, quite the reverse, it will be great to see her again. Brilliant dentist, lovely lady !

Had a lot of cosmetic filler work done by sefa, very thorough with her attention to detail second to none!! Having been terrified of the dentist since a kid, sefa put me at ease and actually made going to the dentist a pleasure. Bit gutted that she's moved on to another practice to be honest... if her new one was closer I'd definitely consider moving. Thanks for all your help and work you did for me and my teeth in Crosby

Being 19 years of age and having terrible teeth has always been my downfall,not having the condfidence to smile,always talking with my hand over my mouth,and with the way I had been treat at my last dentist,I refused to go back,until I moved to crosby dental practise,I was met by dr shaiaku and from that day on Iv never felt so more relieved about visiting a dentist! She kept me relax the whole way threw my 12 week treatement,from the needle,to removing teeth,today I finally got my dentures to replace some missing teeth on the top,now I have the confidence to smile,and speak without my hand over my mouth I'd like to thank everybody for there hard work and my treatement! Never be more prouder!!

I enjoy seeing Dr Sefa! I have seen a fair share of dentists who, whilst being qualified, have lacked somewhat. I've had fillings go walkies after 3hrs of being put in and at times felt like part of a queue in a crazed high speed production line. I had one dentist have me so on edge that I got up and left half way through my appointment (a root canal... In hindsight not great). I suffer chronically with anxiety and truly detest the dentist yet I trust Dr Sefa and her lovely dental assistant. They reassure me in their lovely welcoming 'hello!' and also when I nervously flinch in discomfort- I'm even listened to general wittering on with a mouthful of clamps! I enjoyed listening to an anecdotal history of Ghanian naming of babies today whilst having a past filling replaced and I completely forgot I was at the dentist! The surgery was packed yet Dr Sefa was forever her cheerful optimistic self! I love that she doesn't forget a face and thought I'd check this site out. On seeing it was entirely her site felt it was incredibly important to give my feedback. For anyone who despises a visit to the dentist- you are in safe and loving hands here!

We brought out son in after a dog bite on his face, he was upset and needed stitches, from the start the doctor was amazing with him calming him down, keeping him aware of everything and making the whole process as pain free in all senses of the word as possible. She is a credit to the NHS, her professionalism and empathy with us combined with the obvious desire to care for people was second to none. We can't thank her enough for how much she has done for us at a difficult time.
