Mrs Amita Peet

Mrs Amita Peet was amazing with my 14 year old daughter who suffers from extreme fear and anxiety of dental work. She needed fillings and extractions and Amita completely put my daughter at ease, my daughter felt safe, reassured and listened to. Every consideration was given to my daughter. We are extremely grateful and feel blessed to have people out there like Amita who are so caring and willing to go the extra mile. Thank you so much.

We have been referred to Mrs. Amita Peet as my daughter broke her front teeth quite badly. My daughter have had a several treatment before she has been referred to Mrs Peet. She is traumatised and scared by thought of going to dentist each time she went. Long story short, we met Mrs. Peet on 4th March for an assessment. During the assessment Mrs. Peet explained everything what she was planning to do with her front teeth and reassuring my daughter that shouldn't be scared of anything - as she will do everything in her power to make sure she does not feel pain during the treatment. I could see my daughter suddenly start to become fearless and calm. She showed her the consent form, again explained to her what its for and she was able to sign it herself with my permission. She took some X-rays to show her and explained how the treatment will go next time she comes back. The dentist nurse and student nurse were brilliant. My daughter was very happy to have her treatment in next appointment. On the way back home my daughter wouldn't stop talking about Mrs. Peet how "cool she is"/ friendly children scrubs she had on, what she can do with the teeth. She started saying how she wants become a dentist when she finishes school bearing in mind my daughter never mentioned any careers she was interested in her future. I couldn't believe all the excitement and how happy she was after the assessment. Next appointment on18th March we met Mrs. Peet and soon she started to show my daughter pictures of what she is going to do and explained it thoroughly in a way to not scare children. She was also very talkative to my daughter and loved having conversations about getting new scrubs and talking about some funny stuff in a way to make the children feel comfortable and not to feel traumatise after seeing all the equipment displayed on treatment table . She showed all the equipment she will be using and what is it for and treatment she going to proceed. Mrs. Peet carried out the treatment talking throughout and kept asking if she was in pain etc. My daughter was so calm and comfortable during the treatment, without moving once or complaining of any pain. All well thanks to Mrs.Peet and her team. I was moved by the professionalism, compassion and care displayed by Mrs. Peet. She is the best dentist I have ever met in my entire life and she deserves all the recognition and appreciation she could get... Highly recommended!. Kind regards U.Osman

I saw Amita today for an extraction and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. Amita was the loveliest. She listened to me and talked me through what she was doing. The tooth was out so quickly and so painlessly. I wish I had seen her months ago and just had her remove it. I honestly cant recommend her enough. I'd also like to mention Amitas dental assistant Dani, who held my hand throughout the procedure and was so lovely. Thank you so much to you both.

Oh my god what a fantastic dentist we saw today, the way she went about things with my son was amazing. To have my son have a tooth extracted and still leave with a smile was just brilliant!

I have been a very nervous about going to the dentist for years - and haven't been for over 10 years, other than when in horrible pain. I found Cliftonville and Amita after googling and made an enquiry because Amita has a specialty in looking after nervous patients, plus Amita is the lead dentist at Cliftonville for Sedation. I spoke to Amita and she asked me to come in and see her where she would look at what I needed doing as well as discuss what is involved for Sedation. On meeting Amita, she made me feel relaxed and discussed what I required doing, and convinced me to let her have a try and do some of the work, with a view that if I couldn't face it then we would move to Sedation in the future. I have to say, she was amazing - I have never felt so safe, secure, and relaxed ever, and the work she did was the easiest and the leased painful I've ever had - I have now been 5 times to get the years of neglect sorted and an no longer in pain, and I'm happy to smile again. Amita and the wider team at Cliftonville are excellent and the practices they use are second to none...I would highly recommend Amita and the team, and I would say to any nervous patient go and see Amita and I am confident you will also be writing a review about your positive experience yourself. Amita was great! I have autism so for me, any dental work can be a really stressful experience and something I avoid. Amita was friendly, patient, clear and informative and communicated every thing she was doing throughout the procedure so I knew what was happening. I felt relaxed and comfortable at every stage. I would highly recommend her to anyone that has anxiety or autism.

I have been petrified of dentists all my life. From my very first appointment with Amita she built up my trust by being kind, considerate and thoughtful.

I am extremely nervous of the Dentist and Amita and Maggie completely put me at ease, explained everything that was going to happen, and never rushed anything. I felt totally relaxed, I am only sorry that I can not see them on a regular basis. Two great ladies, would recommend them to anyone who had anxieties.
