Couldn’t have wished for better treatment well done
This was my best experience in hospital in the last 6 years. I’ve been rushed to hospital on a few occasions over 6 years. This time the wait time was low and things seemed well organised.
Considering how much pressure the nhs staff are under the service is excellent
Everyone was respectful who i saw
Thank you to terri and emma and the consultant ghanyous for helping me, all the staff were amazing
Arrived in A+E 9.30pm, I appreciate it would be along wait however I feel the service was appalling. Despite being in lots of pain and being first told I needed a CT scan at 3am to be then be told at 7.30am that the first doctor I had seen had not recorded this, and I would now need to be seen by a different doctor. In all this time was made to wait in pain in the a+e waiting chairs. I finally ended up being seen for a 2nd time at around 12.30pm and then given fluids and given a more comfortable chair, still not a bed. I was then booked for a CT scan and around 6pm 21 hours since arriving and still sat in a chair that I would be admitted. I was finally transferred to MRU around 10pm that evening again this is 24 hours after arriving in A+E. I had to keep asking for pain relief and despite me asking was forgotten and left in pain. The noise during the night at the nurses station was ridiculous on MRU no consideration that you have unwell patients that need rest. I appreciate that it's a hospital but it was an awful experience, saying that I was transferred to Foxglove ward on 31st May and had a better experience there and felt the staff was pleasant, they introduced themselves where no one else did, they was considerate with noise. I could have gone home Saturday 1st June but due to the pharmacy closing early I was not able to get my medication so had to stay an extra night.
Treated quickly and efficiently on arrival at the hospital.
Staff are very professional and helpful
They never spoken with kindness and i was brought to hospital on very severe condition and i was just 5 minutes in the raft and nurses started to come sir we need u to go there cdu next one came she said something else i said i cannot sit the last lady came she said i want to take you to doctor she put me on chair and left me in in reception waiting area and there was not even a headrest with chair i stayed there for 6 hours she lied to me she forcefully removed me from bed after that i kept asking give me at-least chair in cdu they are not human actually they are all bunch of quacks and animals and this was not not first time i kept saying u did last time same thing and i started vomiting in reception because they did same removed me from bed and thrown me to reception. Thats why when ambulance came to my home second time i said to them hospital is doing this to me they said we will talk to them and they did the same actually they dont want to see patient in peace i am really said that i am in first world country where the health system is my another concern that if i get ill any time they are gonna treat me like that
I was in extreme pain, no beds were offered.
Even after explaining that I had spinal operation and pneumonia procedure, no beds for me lie down was offered. I had use the floor.
Only after so.e nurse observed me on the floor I was given a bed.
A Long time to be seen by the doctor, wad discharged without proper guidelines, was told if pain continues then return which did few hours later, then I was back of the queue again.
When discharged second time guide lines not clear. Pain continued which led to 3rd visit, on 3rd visit, once again no beds offered, I could not sit on a chair for hours to be seen by doctor, I chose to leave.
I had to request my blood glucose level.
I am type 2 diabetic, my glucose level was high very little taken by mouth.
