What an incredibly poor experience. I came in as a walk in to receive a follow up vaccination, on the correct day as per the instruction my last appointment. From the very minute I walked in the treatment from front of house staff has been particularly unfriendly and really ineffective at providing a comforting environment. They seem to have an a poor attitude to patient care and absolutely no empathy - especially Michelle, who I can only describe as smiling through gritted teeth! First off, why does a patient have to complete the same initial form as had been completed previously? This is clearly inefficient but the least of my worries when compared to the wait time. I've now been waiting 2 hours and 30 mins and still haven't been called. When I asked reception they said I was next which was 50 mins ago... and there have been around 10 people called since then. I've been waiting for an hour more than the next longest. It was down to just four persons in the waiting room an hour ago. Out of desperation I feel like walking out, such a waste of time. Why they cant just provide an orderly appointment system? I was eventually seen and the clinician apologised for the wait. The appointment lasted all of two full minutes. I don't intend to come back. I may be feeling somewhat exasperated, but I want to be treated fairly and with respect, and have a proper wait time. Its worth noting that I have never had this problem at Dean Street.
