6 months on from my surgery, I truly cannot express how much happier I am in my own skin. I cannot fault the experience I had under the care of Professor Mahajan, the process from start to finish really was 5*. I was a little anxious at first, but my worries quickly went away after my first consultation. I had wanted a reduction since I was 17 years old (now 24), so when I found AM Aesthetic Surgery I knew I had made the right decision. I had a reduction with liposuction, and lost almost 2kg. For reference I was a G/H cup- now I am a C/D! My shoulder and back pain has gone, my posture is better, and clothes fit so much nicer. I no longer feel the need to wear things that hide my chest, and I can even go braless without feeling self-conscious, which is something I never ever dreamt of. The scarring is neat and fading more and more by the day (I scar easily so I honestly expected the worst in terms or scarring), but the incisions were so thin, I have no doubt in another 6 months they will be barely noticeable. From the reviews online and a personal recommendation, I knew Professor Mahajan was a very skilled surgeon, but when it comes to your own skin of course there is a little bit of anxiety when faced with a surgery such as this. I truly did have nothing to worry about. Professor Mahajan is not only an outstanding surgeon and clearly extremely knowledgeable, but he also has a calm presence and a great sense of humor. His Practice Manager Nichola also provided second to none service, she was very informative and always friendly and helpful, which left me feeling nothing but confident going into the surgery despite my initial worry- she was an absolute star and is a credit to the team. My hospital stay was also great (Yorkshire Clinic), I was made comfortable the entire time and the nurses and hospital staff were extremely helpful, friendly and caring. The food was good too which is always a bonus! Having this surgery has genuinely changed my life, and I really would not hesitate in recommending AM Aesthetic Surgery to anyone.
