A clear example of an experienced and caring surgeon. Absolutely glad I was assigned to his (and his stellar team!) care. I was due to discuss their surgical plan for me in clinic when I instead had to have emergency surgery. He discussed the options open to me very concisely and performed my surgery although he was presumably not on the surgical rota (which I appreciated as he was comfortable using a less invasive technique than the original plan). After the surgery I received a letter dictated from him as a kind of debrief on what had happened (as you can imagine, everything was quite overwhelming going into surgery) and what would happen next. A very appreciated gesture as I like to be keep firmly in the loop of my own care.

Nothing but positive feedback for this Consultant-absolute faith in his ability. Nearly 4 years after diagnosis and still being seen regularly. He puts you at ease, explains thoroughly, is reassuring and never makes you feel like you are wasting his time - always friendly but professional. So grateful I got him as my Consultant.
