I feel as though my life has been gifted back to me. Reading again. Independent life. Travelling on public transport in the dark without being reliant on others. Typing emails. Seeing nature.
The whole system works smoothly. From initial nervous phone call to the end of care. Immediately felt part of a family. Never had to repeat information. Looked after superbly by the administration, support team.
Mr Ratnarajan has an extremely calm, reassuring voice and manner. The surgeon you meet on initial consultation will be the same person who performs the operation. From a patient’s point of view this continuity is invaluable.
There is no feeling of being passed from pillar to post. You are looked after from beginning to end by everyone.
Biggest thanks must go to the surgeon.
