Mr Ratnarajan replaced lenses in both my eyes with multi function lenses as I was wearing glasses for both long and short distance. The two procedures took place a week apart. I was nervous of course, having my eyes operated on, but there was no need. The lead in care was fantastic, I arrived at the hospital an hour or so before each procedure, had my own room which my daughter and her baby were also welcomed to use and received solicitous attention from the pre-op team. The operation itself lasted only 20 minutes, I was kept advised the whole time and encouraged by Mr Ratnarajan who told me how it was going. Afterwards I had a lovely cup of tea and a sandwich, the team went through after care, drops etc and after an hour I could leave. I returned the following week for the procedure to be repeated on my other eye. 10 days later and I am feeling fine, using the drops as prescribed and seeing the world as a brighter more colourful and glasses free place!. This is a life changing experience, don't be nervous, if you're at the 'thinking about it' stage, take the plunge. I wish I'd done it ten years ago. I am so grateful to Mr Ratnarajan and his team.
