Mr Cutting was very approachable and friendly on meeting him which helped me relax at a very vulnerable time. He listened carefully to what I had to say and explained the findings of my MRI scan, biopsies and bone scan fully and of his intention to refer me to an oncology colleague for treatment, he also introduced me to specialist cancer nurse to whom I can contact with concerns or questions at any time which is very reassuring. I feel I have been very fortunate to have been seen by Mr Cutting and indeed his team to help me hopefully on the long road to recovery with many thanks from My wife and myself.

Mr Cutting has been my consultant for around 10 years now and I have never found him to be a anything other than kind, sympathetic and caring. He takes the time to listen and explain and does everything he can to help you.

Mr Cutting is a very professional and sympathetic doctor. I met him for a report on recent tests I had undergone for suspected prostate cancer. The news he imparted to me was not good as far as my prognosis was concerned, but he took time explain all the issues I would need to face and made sure that all of my questions were answered without rushing me in any way which I appreciated greatly.

Mr Cutting was very good at listening and went to great lengths to explain the pros and cons of having an operation at this stage. He completely put me at ease and gave me total confidence in his advice. Although we both agreed that surgery was not the best option at this stage he very kindly agreed to see me again in 12 months. Meanwhile I can contact his secretary at any time if my condition deteriorates. All in all a very positive experience!

Thank you, sincerely, Mr Cutting, from the time I was diagnosed in FGH, which was a shock, you gave me reassurance and confidence. You took the time to explain to me, (and later to my son) what was happening to me and the likely treatment. Patiently answering all my interminable questions in layman's terms. I do like to know what's going on. Subsequently throughout follow-up you really could not have been more friendly and caring. You gave the impression that I was the only patient you had. I wish you the very best of good fortune and good health. Regards Ken Venables
