Dr Chen recently treated my pericardial effusion, which needed to be drained. He explained the risks but reassured me that I was in good hands - which was true! The procedure was carried out within a few hours of diagnosis. All went well and I was discharged within a couple of days. I felt I always fully understood the nature of the problem and the proposed treatment.
