I take my elderly mother to the Doctors regularly. My always gets very nervous when attending Dentists or Doctors. Dr. Hegde made my mum get rid of this nervous tension on her first visit. I never seen mum so relaxed with a Doctor. Dr. Hegde is giving her full treatment to improve her health. She is very friendly and is very knowledgeable with the symptoms mum has. She has improved Mum’s diet and mine explaining what to eat and what not to eat. This has resulted in me loosing wait and feeling better within myself. Dr Hegde is a credit to the NHS and hope she stays in my surgery for many more years to come.

Doctor Hedge is an excellent doctor because she : LISTEN to what you have to say, pays attention to it and take it in consideration (I have found this extremely important because previous doctors had failed to do this and for this reason they have just gone in to own wrong conclusions). Last year I suffered for around 2 months before having the good luck of meeting Dr Hegde. She followed the right course of action and finally an accurate diagnostic was made. SHOWS RESPECT and understanding so your vulnerable position (as you might be in pain) is taken in consideration. I found this also very important in terms of excellent practice. MAKE A PROPER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION. I have had doctors in the past whose examinations were poor and so they were just unable to get to the possible cause of the problem. CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE AND IS WILLING TO TAKE NEXT STEPS if she considers this necessary. For example if there is a cause of concern that needs to be investigated further she would send you appropriate exams to give more light in your case (for example blood tests, x ray, or anything she consider necessary). She would refer you to an specialist if after having followed the protocol she strongly thinks your case needs to be seen by an specialist. If this is not the case, SHE WOULD REASSURE YOU AND SUPPORT YOU through the process of recovery and will be open to see you again if anything changes or if your condition worsen for any reason. She will never make you feel you have to "suffer in silence" . What sets her apart from other doctors is her DEVOTED WILLINGNESS TO HELP your recovery and find the true cause of your problem. As an additional point what a relieve to see a friendly face that greets you with a smile. I have so much respect for Dr. Hegde not just because clearly knows better than many others (that are even older than her) but also because she is a doctor that you can see and feel is COMMITTED to her work as doctor and take seriously her profession. What an AMAZING DOCTOR . I would give her 6 stars if there was the option available! Maria Gonzalez

I wish all the GP's were like Dr Vaidehi Hegde, she is amazing and listens to me when I go to see her. She investigates any serious issues, and has refereed me to a specialist as I have got Bronchitis and need to have steroid inhaler. Dr Vaidehi Hegde, has prescribed right medicine, for me treatment. When I go to the surgery i prefer to see her, as she remembers me and it’s very rare to find a Doctor that listens and doesn't rush you out of the surgery. When this happens patients are been misdiagnosed, and I have witnessed this with my friends, at a different surrey. My family and I have been at this surgery for 26 years, and have had great care from Dr Muthiah. I hope Dr Vaidehi Hegde stays at the surgery, my family and I appreciate her care and her welcoming smile when she calls you into the room. Many of the patients like her very much, as we talk in the waiting room. You can tell that Dr Vaidehi Hegde, loves her job and cares about her patients.

The best doctor I've had the opportunity to meet with, she showed great empathy and understanding towards me and problems. A very friendly and patient attitude, the ideal traits for a doctor. I've always left my appointments feeling listened to and confident about moving forward and getting the help I need. I would 100% recommend visiting this doctor if you get the chance, you would not regret it.
