Professor Barua has provided exemplary care throughout my diagnosis and treatment. His calm, considerate manner has instilled trust and confidence at all
times. At each stage, he has thoroughly explained all aspects of my condition, giving clear reasons for specific medical interventions. My wife and I have been fully involved in the choices made and we are most appreciative of Professor Barua's expertise having enabled enormous improvements to my condition and hence my quality of life. We will forever be grateful for his speedy diagnosis of Sepsis and cannot recommend him highly enough as both a consultant and a surgeon.

I have been seen by Professor Barua on a regular basis since April 2016. Right
from day one we were impressed by his professionalism and his smile. He answers all of our questions clearly and spends time explaining the options available. He is very patient and is never in a hurry. We would highly recommend him.

At my age I have prostrate problems, and had so for a few years now. I was recommended to Professor Jayanta Barrua by my GP.
I can honestly say I cant thank the Prof enough. He has been most polite, professional, courteous, and very informative, and made me feel totally relaxed. During my 2 procedures, he talked me through what was he was going do, what might be my problems and gave me great confidence in him. I totally recommend him to anyone with urinary problems, in fact I will be recommending him to a fellow golfer. Also I had back up and total support from him and his secretary with regards to correspondence from AXA PPP Healthcare.

I had a tumour removed from my left kidney and just recently got the "All Clear" after 10yrs !!!!
My surgery was very well explained by Prof Barua, who took time before and directly after the surgery to explain what was going to be done and what actually took place during the procedure.
His approach gave me huge confidence at a time when i was nervous and i can always remember him saying "we will make sure you're comfortable after the surgery".
I also had fantastic support by the team of nurses at the end of the phone, always prepared to go that bit further to get results and appointments for me as they knew after the surgery you are often having one test or another and waiting anxiously for results. (Thank You)
I want to say how grateful i am to Prof Barua and his team who operated on me and provided great after care.

Prof Jayanta Barua listened to my symptoms before highlighting potential causes based on hypothesis and what the medical world know of certain conditions today. He also provided some good analogies to simplify what is in itself a complex subject. Finally he explained the next course of actions. Very impressed.
