Mr Vijaya Kempanna is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Salford Royal Hospital in Manchester and also started his practice at Spire Manchester Hospital, United Kingdom. He trained at some of the leading country's teaching institutes in the South East of London, before undertaking a Hip & Knee arthroplasty fellowship under Prof Dunlop and Mr Datta at Southampton university Hospitals. He took up a consultant post at the Southampton General Hospital in 2017 and progressed from there to move to Manchester in 2019.
Mr Kempanna is working at Salford Royal Hospital, which is recognised Major Trauma Centre for Greater Manchester, practicing in all aspects of adult lower limb Orthopaedics and complex trauma.
Mr Kempanna's areas of interest are Hip and Knee replacement surgery, Complex Trauma, Pelvic and Acetabular surgery. His practice is based on patient centred approach. He has excellent outcomes (better than national average) recorded following Hip & Knee replacements.
