Mr Trikha performed a total left knee replacement on 9 November. Within a few hours I was up and walking and shortly after returning home on 12 November, was fully able to walk without crutches. It's been just under four weeks since my surgery and my quality of life has already changed beyond belief. In fact I am so delighted with the results that I shall be asking Mr Trikha to perform the same surgery on my right leg next Spring. This will mean that I will be able to dance into retirement at the end of next year as opposed to just walking very carefully.
