I had a total hip replacement on 18th November 2023. I am very happy with the service I received from the original consultation through to my appointment on 29th December 2023. Where I was discharged but also told if I had any concerns or questions not to hesitate to contact him.

I saw Mr Latimer for an elective total hip replacement. During consultation I found Mr Latimer very easy to talk too, he listened to my concerns, he explained the procedure fully reassuring me , leaving me confident I was in good hands. He was equally calming and assured pre and post operation. The whole operation delivered as planned, resulting in a much neater and smaller scar than I had anticipated. I followed all the teams post operation recovery guidance and was discharged exactly as planned. Very pleased with the results, highly recommend.

I saw Mr Latimer & was put on the waiting list as an NHS patient for a total hip replacement. He explained everything about the surgery & showed me X-rays of my hip. On the day of surgery he went over everything prior to the procedure. I also saw him the following day. I attended my post surgery follow up & was discharged. I was in a lot of pain about 4weeks after discharge & called to get advise. Mr Latimer saw me the following day & did more X-rays. As these were ok,he requested an MRI on my spine. I then had a further appt to get results. The scan had shown problems of the spine which had caused the pain. I had more X-rays on my knees, just to be sure they weren’t causing problems. I am so pleased with the care & attention I received & also the thorough investigations I had. Mr Latimer listened to everything I said & explained each step clearly.
