Dr chowdhry is a very good doctor my
Operation went very well with no problems I was not nervous at all he listened to me if I had any questions the next day my knee did bleed a bit and he came in the evening to make sure everything was ok I’ve made me feel at ease I would fully recommend the Nuffiel hospital

I am very happy with my knee replacement and found Mr. Chowdhry friendly professional and informative. As to be expected, for the first 4 weeks my knee was very painful and stiff, especially at night, but then the symptoms eased and by 6 weeks I was able to drive, ride my bike, and manage stairs and walking almost normally.

Mr Majid Chowdhry is an experienced and comprehensively trained knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon. His specific area of interest lies in sports' knee injuries, including ACL and complex ligament reconstruction, knee joint preservation, meniscal surgery, and hip and knee replacements. Alongside this, he performs revision hip and knee arthroplasty and fractures of the knee, hip and pelvis.

His interest in sports injuries has come from being a keen sportsman himself. He is an honorary lecturer in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and contributes to teaching and research arms.
