From start to finish Dr Chowdhry was amazing. He listened, he empathized, he reassured and he answered my concerns/questions. From my initial consultation to surgery, it was just a few weeks. I received all the information I needed which explained what to expect before, during and after surgery. Dr Chowdhry came to see me before surgery, and the two days I was in hospital after surgery.
He's just a great surgeon and I recovered quickly. Before leaving hospital I was given my 6 weeks appointment date to see Dr Chowdhry and my physiotherapy appointment was all set up too. Everything was covered, I was not left wondering, and felt fully cared for.
At my 6 week appointment after surgery, I left Dr Chowdhry's office feeling 6 foot tall. He was full of praise at my recovery, reassuring and just very supportive from start to finish. I truly could not recommend him highly enough as a person, a surgeon and a doctor.

He was totally honest with me and told me what was needed and exactly what to expect. And from having operation and stay in hospital him and hospital staff and surgery team were excellent and their care and work ethic outstanding. Told me how operation had gone and what I needed to do and I walked into his appointment 6 weeks later and everything was as he had told me but I did everything exercised etc every day with out fail and some days it hurt but those I just did a little. You have good days and odd bad day.

Mr Majid Chowdhry is an experienced and comprehensively trained knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon. His specific area of interest lies in sports' knee injuries, including ACL and complex ligament reconstruction, knee joint preservation, meniscal surgery, and hip and knee replacements. Alongside this, he performs revision hip and knee arthroplasty and fractures of the knee, hip and pelvis.
With such a vast range of available surgical skills, Mr Chowdhry can ensure that each patient receives a completely personalised and tailored treatment option.
His interest in sports injuries has come from being a keen sportsman himself. He is an honorary lecturer in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and contributes to teaching and research arms.
