I had colonoscopy procedure with Dr jayesh , he was polite , welcomed me and asked all about me ,I cud had chance to ask me any question , after procedure explained me about result . I was happy about results. Definitely recon this dr . Altogether was smooth procedure

This surgeon was so caring and devoted to his patients he preformed two operation on me first a Stoma bag owing to sepsis then a reversal this June He was always there first thing in morning and last thing at night I hold this man in high regard and am still under his Clinic definitely without his skill I would not be able to write this review I owe my life to him Thank you so much for your care

Mr Jayesh Sagar is a general surgeon with a specialist interest in open and laparoscopic surgery. He subspecialises in laparoscopic colorectal surgery.

Following his medicine qualification and Masters in general surgery in India, Mr Sagar completed basic surgical training and membership examinations in the UK. After a period of research at Royal Free Hospital and University College, London, Mr Sagar gained specialist surgical training (colorectal and general surgery) in the South West Thames region. He had completed his training with a senior fellowship in recurrent rectal cancer and pelvic floor surgery at St Thomas' Hospital, London and advanced laparoscopic surgery at Medway Hospital, Kent. Mr Sagar’s practice mainly involves general and bowel laparoscopic surgery.
As a fully trained surgeon, he offers his expertise in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis). Mr Sagar also offers Single Port Laparoscopic (Single incision keyhole) surgery mainly for benign and malignant bowel pathology.


Along with laparoscopic surgery for hernias (groin, abdominal, incisional) and general surgical procedures, he also deals with all aspects of ano-proctology (piles, fissures, fistulas, pilonidal sinus, etc) including HALO and THD.

Mr Sagar specialises in trans-anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) for large rectal polyps and early rectal cancer and is an accredited endoscopist (OGD, Colonoscopy and polyp removal). Specialist training in pelvic floor dysfunction allows Mr Sagar to offer patients effective management of evacuatory and incontinence disorders and rectal prolapse. He performs endoanal ultrasound and anal physiology studies and chairs the pelvic floor services.

He had been an undergraduate specialty lead for surgery. He is an educational supervisor and clinical supervisor for higher surgical trainees from East of England deanery. He also supervises medical students and physician associate trainees. He has over 40 publications in peer reviewed journals and has presented his work over 35 national and international recognised conferences. He has been invited speaker in different conferences and also been invited for peer review process for well-established medical journals.
