Being told you have cancer is probably the most scariest time of anyone's life. Whilst I was reassured my cancer was detected early and the lump is quite small so chances are very high it will be removed successfully, they are still only words at this stage. Dr Leff spoke to me a week before surgery and explained the procedure. Everything was then set in place systematically and I met him again on the day of the surgery with a team of doctors. 3 weeks post surgery, I have just again met with Dr Leff. It has been a long 3 weeks waiting to know about results of the biopsy and if the cancer was all successfully removed. Good news that the cancer was all removed and it had not spread to the sentinal nodes. I cannot thank Dr Leff and his team enough. I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Whilst I was treated under the NHS, it honestly felt like private treatment. I am truly grateful for his expertise in this field and feel fortunate to be 1 of no doubt many that walk away from such surgery with the cancer completely removed. If ever this cancer returns, I would 100% request to be seen by Dr Leff again.

Dr Leff diagnosed by breast cancer in October 2022 and was very sympathetic and professional from the start . He explained in detail the manner in which my breast surgery would entail. I appreciate the fact that Dr Leff wanted to conserve my breast and not go down the route for a mastectomy. His professional attitude and knowledge ,support and care has been outstanding .At every appointment he was very honest and transparent and also very patient with the questions my daughter put to him .Before theatre ,his caring smile and voice calmed and reassured all would go well. I am forever grateful for his high professional care. Outstanding thank you Mr Leff

I had a number of appointments with Mr Leff concerning my breast cancer and I would say that in all our sessions I felt totally confident in him and in what he was telling me. It felt that he had all the time in the world to explain to me, and my husband and daughter, what the issues were and what treatment he recommended. There was one occasion when I was very unsure of the breast reconstruction method that I had decided upon, and wanted to discuss it again before my op. I phoned the clinic and was told to come in the following morning and discuss it further with him. I was amazed and delighted that I was offered an appointment at such short notice. I considered that quite exceptional. I was asked to take part in 2 trials during my treatment to which I agreed. It is clear that Mr Leff is interested in the advancements that technology can bring and I think that an approach like his is admirable. I have now had 2 operations with no issues to date. So, in summary: I feel that I received first class treatment from Mr Leff, I felt listened to and I felt that I had more than sufficient time to discuss my treatment plan.

My treatment by Daniel Leff was exceptional. From our first meeting he made me feel at ease, explained everything in great detail, showed me scans so that I could understand fully my diagnosis. He talked me through every stage of my upcoming surgery. After surgery he kept in daily contact on my progress. He has talked to me regarding follow up chemo and radiation treatment. I had complete confidence in Daniel Leff from day one and highly recommend him.

Dr Leff has been sensitive, open and honest throughout my diagnosis and treatment. He discussed all my options in depth along with the pros and cons of each choice which made my decision easier to make. Dr Leff listened to and respected my thoughts regarding the options, which resulted in a successful operation and with me being very happy with the outcome of the surgery. I honestly believe I had the best possible treatment and experience from Dr Leff and his team.
