We communicated extremely well throughout the consultations and perioperative period. I felt Mr Kumar and the nursing/anaesthesia team all knew exactly what they were doing and did it well. I cannot fault the surgery itself (bilateral double inguinal hernia repair). There was the minimum of bruising and none of the problems discussed pre-operatively came to pass. I travelled home after two 500mg paracetamol tablets and only used the opioid supplied to help sleeping for the first few nights post op. The wounds from the endoscopy ports have almost disappeared by ~six weeks post op. The surgery was absolutely worth having done and I'm very pleased it has gone as was planned.
