Dr Patel listened from the very first consultation acknowledging the severe effect my daughter’s perception of her ears had on her mental health.
She has several mental health conditions including Autism, depression and anxiety and he represented her exceptionally to assist her to obtain funding for this operation.
Once given this opportunity she diligently followed all recommendations both pre and post operatively, which in conjunction with excellent surgery and a supportive wider MDT, has resulted in a much more confident individual.
This surgery has not only improved her perceived physical health but had a massive positive impact on her mental health.
Thank you to the whole team both clinical and administrative.
