St James's University Hospital
Placed on J27 a few days ago now, the treatment I’ve received here is absolutely diabolical! The healthcare assistants are the only ones holding this place together The nurses are rude, impatient and unsympathetic to say the least I’ve been in a load of pain crying into my pillow whilst the nurses ignored me Other people only have to twinge and they get offered an extra option in pain relief Genuinely making me feel worse mentally and physically I don’t want to live anymore This ward has taken my last bit I had left Thanks!

Moved to isolation as tested positive for MRSA since moving on the Tuesday now Saturday and room not been cleaned. Staff coming in and out without following PPE protocols on aprons washing hands etc. used to get water jug deliveries on ward now none without asking. Cannot use shower or toilet facilities and single room only has small sink for everything.
All of above

Treatment and conversations were mostly telephone based, considering I had chronic back pain it was weeks of agony before seeing a physiotherapist. My referral to the MSK team was again a number of weeks, dealing with muscular and nerve pain thanks to a protruding disc. I sought my own physiotherapy and chiropractor treatment privately as I was not getting any treatment on the NHS just relying on painkillers in the hope it went away.
