Had an appointment with DR [name removed] today to remove my implant which I had anxiety about as I am prone to passing out.
She made me feel at ease and super comfortable and she even sang to me when I asked her to, to calm me down :)
It was over before I knew it and was easy! She gave me some helpful advice on the services avaiable for mental health during our conversation

Too long to wait for an appointment. Experience when I was at the surgery was first class.

Our Healthcare Support Worker appointments are highly sought after, we have had some unplanned absence recently within the team which can contribute to making the waiting time for appointments a little longer than we would like. I went online to the surgery appointments form, filled in the details of symptoms (easy to use website).
I was then phoned back, by the very helpful reception within the hour and booked in same day on the duty doctors request.
Duty doctor was very thorough, reassuring and helpful. Thank you.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
