The hospital was clean and comfortable. As someone who is terrified of hospitals being a patient at Beaumont Hospital made the whole experience a positive one for me.
I was given my own room which enabled a family member to stay with me whilst waiting for the procedure. I could relax and watch television and talk with my family helping with the anxiety I was feeling. On return from surgery I had my own room and family to reassure me.
The nursing staff were excellent in their care, as were the Physiotherapists who advised me at the time of the surgery,and their treatment in the clinic the weeks after surgery. The Physiotherapist at Beaumont Hospital provided me with the confidence to move my knee and the 3 visits to the clinic pushed into making more movement and eventually back to being able to do normal activities.
The food served was also healthy and very tasty.
