I was invited for a health check and made my appointment via the NHS app by selecting a date offered to me so I did not have any issue with making an appointment by telephone or at the surgery. While my experience in the past has been that it can be difficult to get through to the surgery by telephone to make an appointment when I last did so I got an appointment on the same day. On my last visit to the surgery I did not need to interact with the receptionist as I booked in using the screen. The surgery looked perfectly clean to me. I did not need any care and treatment as my appointment was for a health check but my discussion with the member of the medical staff was helpful.

I would have liked to have been given a diabetes test as part of the health check given the increasing likelihood of developing type 2 diabetes after the age of 60.

We walked in and Harry was on reception and booked us in straight away. The wait to see Dr Newsom wasn't long at all and he was very helpful and informative. What I really liked about the visit, was that he spoke to Olivia (9) like a person and treated her with respect, giving her information and asking her permission, she felt valued and listened to. I am also so grateful to Dr Newsom, for calling me the next day and letting me know that he had asked around and found out about a separate issue, which he had therefore organised a blood test for Olivia. This has really put my mind at ease and hopefully she doesn't have the same allergies as me, but I'm glad to know he took it and has dealt with it seriously.

Dr Hoddle was able to squeeze me in for a very few and useful minutes on a busy day. Her diagnosis meant I received timely medication in the nick of time. I would like to thank her very much

It is alway two weeks or more before I can see my GP face to face. I can see somebody else the same day in emergency if I phone at 8.30 in the morning which is almost impossible for me because I have fibromyalgia and feel really ill when I wake up and if I get up early I feel ill all day-brain fog/ exhaustion etc. I think some allowance should be made for those people who find it difficult to phone early. it isn’t a good system for everybody!
