Went to an assessment and spent all day there,so they could give us the right wheelchair for the job.Then over 9 months later at another venue we were given a wheelchair that was of no use what so ever,this was condemned as being unsafe,by SOS Services.Then we got another wheelchair this we were unable to get around the home,on public transport or through door ways,or into shops,for this we had to go to Cannock.Eventualy having been through this we contacted PALS and got them on the case,this sort of got the issue resolved where we had a wheelchair we could use,but its still not really what we needed.Wheelchair service have the attitude one size fits all,this is definetly not the case.As far as communication and care this is a joke,unless you keep chasing them you will get nowhere,this at the beginning was our mistake.Take our advice and do not let them mess you about,keep on till you get what you want,and if this fails contact PALS,this made all the difference.
