awful service. staff seem to have little or no knowledge. slow in every respect, chair that was given was totally wrong we didn't want to accept if but had to beacuse of need, it caused pressure sores within weeeks and we are now 3 years down the line, after being in hospital because of sores caused ny the chair, the wheelchair service just don't seem to know what they are doing, had to make an official complaint, poor response to this as well, it has taken over a year to get anywhere near a suitable repsone and had to ask external sspecialist to act on our behalf, they confirmed that evrything about the chair supplied wass wrong and we are now going the process to get a replacement chair- this has taken over 3 years!! just been measure for a replacement chair today- asked for a representaive from the manaufacture to be present to ensure measurements are correct this time- still has to go back to the wheelchair service finace department to be approved. But fingers crossed this will be right this time. How any disabled young person without the support of strong parents or carers would fair with this wheelchair service a dread to think.
