every step of the treatment was well explained and every question no matter how simple answered. In spite of the difficulty with the stone the results were finally good. Iain Burton is personable and was efficient but friendly. Job well done.

Iain talked me through all aspects of my care/treatment and took his time. He saw me quickly and made me feel very at ease, and as a result the whole process was as stress free as I believe could be possible. I had a kidney stone removed, and if I ever have another I will push to have Iain as my specialist again. I also believe Ashford and St. Peters was well equipped and the best hospital locally for this treatment, as up until the point I got referred there my journey through the NHS had been slow and error ridden.

The staff at St. Peter's Hospital are extremely caring, courteous and nice. Apart from having to be treated for a complaint, it was an absolute pleasure to be there! I visited Iain Burton a number of times for assessment and Lithotripsy. He was very patient and clearly explained everything that would happen on my visit. Throughout the treatment Iain showed obvious concern for my comfort and wellbeing. At the end of each session, he explained the aftercare at home and what I could expect as a result of treatment. He also made himself available to answer any questions by phone, if needed. The treatment I received was faultless: to anyone considering whether to undergo Lithotripsy, I cannot recommend Iain Burton highly enough for the excellent quality patient care he provides. The same can be said for the nurses who were in attendance during my Lithotripsy sessions, and at the aftercare in the Urology Dept. Lovely people doing a great job!

Mr Iain Burton was very caring and courteous. I have attended 3 courses of treatment which each time I attended I was made very relaxed from the admission staff, the lithotripsy treatment then through to the after care of the nurses. Nothing was too much trouble and the care and attention was outstanding. The follow up appointments was very efficient and there was no waiting for long periods of time. The lithotripsy treatment was not too bad to have done, and the after effects were minimal. I would definitely recommend this treatment to have done. There are no improvements that I can recommend as there were no complaint from start to finish.
