From the first time I met Clare she showed empathy and care. It was the way and tone of voice she used - upbeat and positive (when I felt at my lowest). When I broke down on her in tears on several occasions she coped with me so well knowing exactly what to do - she listened , understood and offered practical solutions. She would then always checked in on me regularly at my appointments (always with a real genuine smile - not a fake I’m at work so I must smile). Every week we met and she was always there when she said she would be, never kept me waiting or appear to busy for me ever. She attended all my appointments with the doctors and explained anything I needed repeating to me. She also was ever so efficient at answering emails both before treatment and after, she made me feel no questions were stupid and that I could contact her whenever. She also was always in the end of the phone when I needed. Finally what made her special is that even when she wasn’t going to be in she let me know and gave me the name of who was covering for her on that day. She is a wonderful asset to the team.
