Mr David Walton

David is a caring and understanding psychologist, he listened and didn’t judge me.
David clearly has a great knowledge on his subject, and I felt totally at ease, not something that is easy to do, but I had to for the best.
I cannot fault his service, and his team around him appear to support him extremely well.
Something that came out in the discussions was that the IT side can sometimes hold him and the department back. Something that is not limited to the NHS....
The service I received was brilliant. I must have got on David's nerves with all the emails I sent him but he always made me feel valued. I just wish the appointments could have been face to face.
I liked that although my son had to wait to be seen that they kept in touch via letter to let us know he was still
on the list. My son liked that he was able to communicate easily and honestly even though it was a little harder being on zoom. I liked that me, as Mum, was included and prompted for my views. David Walton very much came across as being very understanding and kind in his responses, my son most importantly felt he had listened to him and heard him., Felt validated by having a diagnosis and although still some hoops to jump through, he's not only in a path but the right path. It would be great to have Mr Walton as his psychologist going forward as he seemed to give my son confidence to be who he is.
Very calm and proffesional, he diagnosed myself and was incredibly knowledgable and when he contacted me after my diagnosis for follow up support he always spoke to me in such a calming way and really enjoyed our chats.
