Paul responds to my chronic arthritic problems with treatment that enables me to engage in activities and sports that I had expected to give up. I thought my skiing years were finished but I now intend to continue this sport for a long time.

Paul was recommended to me by a friend over ten years ago and I have been a patient of his ever since. He has helped me through many injuries and each time I recovered quickly and was back to running sooner than expected. He has a reassuring and positive attitude and explains the injury and resulting pain in a way that is easy to understand. He also provides excellent follow up exercises which he develops as the symptoms improve. By identifying the cause of the problem, Paul is also able to advise on ways to prevent possible future injuries. The team at Body Logic are friendly and very professional. I have attended running lessons, personal training and Pilates classes and on each occasion the instructors have been briefed by Paul about my treatment and recovery progress. It is an exceptional service.

I have seen Paul many times over the years - he has been my 'go-to' whenever I have had issues with my body. Paul takes the time to understand not just the symptoms, but the route cause of the pain - he has fixed me on numerous occasions. He is also very good at explaining to me (in very simple terms) what is happening with my body, and what I need to do to fix it. I recommend him very highly.

Paul is an outstanding practitioner - he has the rare combination of exceptional ability and extensive experience to analyse the movement of the body as a whole system and pinpoint the underlying causes of issues. After more than a year of treatment that had failed to resolve a running injury I had accepted that my running days were over, I would probably walk with a limp for the rest of my life and nights of painless sleep were history. A chance recommendation took me to Paul and within a few weeks I was without pain and walking level again ..... 18 months later I am running and achieving new personal best times! The majority of the work to achieve this has been through prescribed exercises in my own time - never overly onerous in terms of time or energies. Paul has monitored progress regularly and uses a sophisticated set of independent metrics to evidence changes being made - a big step from just agreeing that it feels a bit better. His ´hands on’ work is first class and never fails to move things along very quickly. He also has the knowledge to provide appropriate training schedules and a genuine interest in one’s progress and achievements. Overall I feel as if every limb has been given a new lease of life and that my posture and movement has improved very significantly - a gift for life.

Profile

MCSP HCPC KCMT

Paul qualified in 1994 at Manchester University and proceeded to work for three and a half years at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust. During this period he worked in most areas of physiotherapy but it was always musculoskeletal injuries that appealed the most. It was from here that he first moved into full time private practice, where he has been working since the end of 1997.

During this period Paul has undertaken numerous weekend courses to aid in his development as a physiotherapist. These have covered many of the various techniques used within the profession. He works very much as a manual therapist focusing largely on the body's biomechanics, relating this to dysfunction. Paul has a special interest in hypermobility and the associated retraining.

Paul undertook the Movement Solution Course in 2010 and has since continued his studies at Keele University, recently passing these modules, he is now an accredited Movement Control Physiotherapist.

Paul has also worked with the following sports teams:
- London Scottish Rugby Club
- Middlesex Cricket Club
- MCC Young Cricketers
- Britain's & World's Strongest Man Competitions
- Clapham Chasers Running Club
