My referral through my GP for a physiotherapy assessment finally happened today when I was seen by James Bell at the Isebrook Hospital for osteoarthritis in my hips. I couldn’t have hoped for a more thorough and pleasant expert and feel very much in safe hands! Having asked questions and examined me he clearly explained his findings and advised me on the most beneficial stretches I could start doing right away. He’s requesting an X-Ray and then a follow up appointment and has already told me about various options moving forward along with advice on which could likely offer the best improvement. I certainly do trust this physiotherapist, would recommend him 100% and found that he listened to me.

I was seen by James within two weeks of contacting my doctor. James understands my condition and his expertise has been very beneficial to me. Being able to see the same physio on a regular basis does make you feel that someone is listening to you and trying to help. I am very pleased with the help and support I have been given.

James is very patient, understanding and listens. I would recommend James to anyone that needs physio. He tells you what is about to happen before he starts the exercise and stops if you feel any pain. He then offers an alternative. He has improved my posture and the exercise routines are easy to read and do. Well done and thank you James. I have been signed off by him now but he says if I need to get back in contact in the future he has supplied the information for me to not have to go on a waiting list but contact my surgery and ask for them to do a FCP Appointment which is good to know. During my two appointments with James so far, I have felt very well listened to and he has described what he believes to be causing my pain in great detail, with good knowledge, and in a way that is understandable to me.
