I developed some serious back pain a few weeks back and I called Physio & More as it's close to where I live. I got an appointment later that day which I was grateful for as waiting any length of time felt like too long. Liam was great, he listened, examined me very carefully and started to treat me. I got relief from the first session and he explained what I had done that had caused the problem. Over several sessions I'm nearly back to normal and Liam has helped me understand how to stop the problem coming back and shown me exercises to do to strengthen the muscles in my lower back to help. Any man who could get me out of that pain which was indescribable deserves my vote of absolute confidence.

Liam has been treating me for neck and shoulder pain and I'm almost better. He's kind, considerate and knows what he's doing. He explains things carefully and alongside being a great physiotherapist he's pleasant and friendly to be with. If the treatment didn't sometimes hurt, going to see him would be a pleasure!

I've seen Liam on and off for a number of years and I have followed him to Physio & More because I really didn't want to change physios when he left the last place he worked. I'm a cyclist and I have a recurrent injury that needs treatment, without treatment I can't cycle. Liam listens carefully and although I've seen him for years he takes nothing for granted when I 'turn up again'. It's always a comprehensive assessment and a thorough look at what is going on. Treatment with Liam works and I have great confidence in him and trust him, he uses his hands alot and always seems to hit the spot quickly and my injuries improve. Because of what is wrong I'll never be cured but it's great to be able to get fixed and that's what Liam does exceptionally well.

Profile

Senior Physiotherapist

My physiotherapy career began in the NHS. I completed a wide variety of rotations whilst beginning my specialism into musculoskeletal treatments. Despite the inherent challenges, I really enjoyed my time in the NHS, and I learned an incredible amount. Since this time I have worked extensively in private practice throughout South West London and Surrey. My experience to date has developed my expertise in treating a wide variety of clients and injuries. Clinically, I have spent my time assessing and treating those who simply work hard, the ultimate sport enthusiasts, and also elite athletes.

Prior to physiotherapy, I gained my first degree in Sports Science at Loughborough University. Whilst working as a private personal trainer, I became very interested in the biomechanics of injuries, and more specifically, the effect people have upon themselves in their chosen activity. It would seem that in many cases a chosen sport may simply find a problem (that has been there for a long time) rather than cause the problem in the first place. In my practice, I like to use my knowledge of exercise, biomechanics, and a wealth of manual therapy skills to both solve the problem, and keep it away. Whatever the problem may be, I will be with you every step of the way.
