Liam listens to what you say very carefully, asks questions when he needs to so he's absolutely sure of what you are saying then tests out your injuries to see what is painful and what isn't. Only when he's fully satisfied does he tell you what is wrong and get to work on getting you fixed. I've seen him a few times over the years, this time it was a problem with my shoulder after a skiing accident. I expected the worst from the pain but he managed to reduce that a lot after one session and following his advice and attending regularly for treatment pain was gone in a week and at the end of four weeks I'm now fully recovered. Excellent treatment and care.

Liam has been treating me for a bad case of sciatica. I didn't know what it was at first, my foot was numb and there was pain shooting down my leg from my lower back. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't get an appointment with my GP and I found Physio & More on Google and thought it had to be worth a try. Liam put me at my ease quickly, he asked how it all started, told me what he thought and started work on me. It took a few sessions but at the end of the first one I could feel my foot again even if I was walking oddly so that was very reassuring progress. I'm fine again now and ready to start running again. Great service and treatment.

Liam is an excellent practitioner. I feel totally at ease with him and trust his care and advice that he gives. He listens to everything I say and he makes me feel comfortable in each of my sessions. I have been seeing him on a bi-weekly basis for only a few weeks, but I would not hesitate to recommend him to others! My back and shoulders are certainly better off for seeing him :-)

In the last week of the tennis season I injured my shoulder very badly and needed surgery to fix it. My consultant recommended Liam and I was very happy with that as I've seen him before. He got down to business immediately helping restore strength and mobility to my shoulder. As it was my right one and I'm right handed getting normal function back quickly was important. Liam was great, always pushing just a bit further and making good and steady progress. If you need a physio I highly recommend him.

Liam is a highly skilled and knowledgeable physio who I have seen a number of times over the last five or six years. He's also thorough and has a good sense of humour that helps when the injuries are serious or the treatment painful. Most recently it has been my ankle which needed big surgery and a very careful programme of strengthening afterwards. It may sound daft but you don't realise how much you depend on an ankle until you can't use it. Liam was not phased and got to work and over three months I'm just about able to do everything I need to again including starting to run, running properly will take about three more months but I will be able to do it which is great.

Profile

Senior Physiotherapist

My physiotherapy career began in the NHS. I completed a wide variety of rotations whilst beginning my specialism into musculoskeletal treatments. Despite the inherent challenges, I really enjoyed my time in the NHS, and I learned an incredible amount. Since this time I have worked extensively in private practice throughout South West London and Surrey. My experience to date has developed my expertise in treating a wide variety of clients and injuries. Clinically, I have spent my time assessing and treating those who simply work hard, the ultimate sport enthusiasts, and also elite athletes.

Prior to physiotherapy, I gained my first degree in Sports Science at Loughborough University. Whilst working as a private personal trainer, I became very interested in the biomechanics of injuries, and more specifically, the effect people have upon themselves in their chosen activity. It would seem that in many cases a chosen sport may simply find a problem (that has been there for a long time) rather than cause the problem in the first place. In my practice, I like to use my knowledge of exercise, biomechanics, and a wealth of manual therapy skills to both solve the problem, and keep it away. Whatever the problem may be, I will be with you every step of the way.
