I'd never been to a physio before but had serious neck pain, a colleague recommended Liam. He was great, he got me sorted out very quickly and effectively. I won't hesitate in future if that or anything similar occurs.

I developed a muscle spasm in my shoulder that was very painful, first thing in the morning it took about an hour to settle down before I could do very much, painkillers made no difference and nor did new pillows. It went on for about three months. A friend suggested seeing Liam so I went along. He's very good and very professional. He knew straight away when I described the pain what it was and he set to work on my shoulder. I was much better after one session and totally cured after two more. I wish I'd known about the good a physiotherapist could do much sooner - my message, don't put up with pain, see someone quickly.

I've been seeing Liam with knee pain that started when I was cycling and has got worse, I was pretty sure cycling was the cause. He checked everything including the set up of my bike and made the smallest of adjustments and that has done the trick, no more pain. Oh and he worked on my knee and the surrounding areas of my leg to get rid of the pain I was having. Excellent.

I woke with neck pain, was in agony and couldn't move enough to drive my car with an important meeting to get to that afternoon. A google search found me Physio & More and I was offered an appointment later in the morning with Liam. He was excellent, the treatment was not pleasant but he assured me it would work and it did. Amid different pain movement started to come back as he worked on me for a solid hour. I was definitely feeling delicate but I could drive again and got to the all important meeting. Liam suggested I come a couple more times so he could finish 'unknotting' my neck and I gladly did. What a mess I was in but now it's all sorted out. I'll certainly go back at the slightest sign of a problem, I don't ever want to be like that again.

The consultant who replaced my knee told me to go and see Liam and what an excellent recommendation it was. He worked straight away on reducing swelling and getting me moving. I had never thought that I would lose so much strength in the course of the operation but I did and Liam put me on a programme of strengthening to get my muscles back. Now that I don't have knee pain any more and my leg is back to normal I feel great, better than for years. Excellent physio and totally recommended.

Profile

Senior Physiotherapist

My physiotherapy career began in the NHS. I completed a wide variety of rotations whilst beginning my specialism into musculoskeletal treatments. Despite the inherent challenges, I really enjoyed my time in the NHS, and I learned an incredible amount. Since this time I have worked extensively in private practice throughout South West London and Surrey. My experience to date has developed my expertise in treating a wide variety of clients and injuries. Clinically, I have spent my time assessing and treating those who simply work hard, the ultimate sport enthusiasts, and also elite athletes.

Prior to physiotherapy, I gained my first degree in Sports Science at Loughborough University. Whilst working as a private personal trainer, I became very interested in the biomechanics of injuries, and more specifically, the effect people have upon themselves in their chosen activity. It would seem that in many cases a chosen sport may simply find a problem (that has been there for a long time) rather than cause the problem in the first place. In my practice, I like to use my knowledge of exercise, biomechanics, and a wealth of manual therapy skills to both solve the problem, and keep it away. Whatever the problem may be, I will be with you every step of the way.
