Leanne Simoncelli

Profile

Leanne graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2004 and since then she has worked in private practice in South Africa and Wimbledon. Alongside her work at Sprint she is currently studying her Masters in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at UCL. She has a particular interest in treating and managing sports injuries, especially since volunteering as a "Games Maker" physiotherapist for the rowers and canoeists during the London 2102 Olympics.

She has excellent manual skills following postgraduate qualifications in both joint manipulation and sports massage. She is also skilled in Pilates, Acupuncture, Taping and Hydrotherapy.

Leanne has been one of the Barnes Rugby First Team physiotherapists for several seasons and she regularly works as an event physiotherapist at various Rowing regattas, Triathlons, Hockey (Hampstead & Westminster), BUCS championships, Track Cycling, and GB Masters Athletics.
