I was a bit surprised when on seeing my GP he suggested that a physiotherapist would be the best person to treat my headache. I'm not a very active or sporty person and I thought that was the sort of people who went to physio. I made an appointment with Anna, hoping I was doing the right thing and from the outset she assured me I was in the right place. She examined me carefully (more than my GP did!) and asked a lot of questions then got to work on my neck and shoulders. I'm not going to pretend for a moment that the experience was pleasant, it wasn't but it did work. Three sessions later and headaches I've had for months have gone. If they come back, I'll know where to go but Anna also gave me some very helpful advice on prevention which so far has worked. I thoroughly recommend the approach and you don't need to see your GP before you make an appointment.
