I've had a few issues with lower back pain since the birth of my baby and it had been getting worse. A friend in a similar state recommended Anna who she had seen. My back pain is sorted out, Anna was great and if I need to I won't hesitate to go back.
Anna has been treating me after the birth of my baby. Apparently developing serious back pain after the birth is not uncommon though no one told me about that before hand. I could barely move and apparently had a problem with my sacro-illiac joint - didn't know I had such a thing but by goodness it hurt. Anna has been very methodical and although it took a few weeks to be right again - not helped by needing to get on with being a new mum between sessions she has worked wonders. I'm alright again but I'm going to continue to see her over the coming months as much as anything to stop the same thing happening again and she's also helping me get back into good shape - it's so much easier when you have some help!
Unable to move with back pain on waking I called Physio & More where I've been before. I was offered an appointment with Anna later the same morning and had to get my husband to take me even though we live close by. Anna was excellent. She got quickly to the root of the problem, mad though it sounds, as a new mum I hadn't thought that picking up and carrying my baby could be harming me but when I showed Anna what I was doing she recongised immediately what I had done. Anyway she worked hard to get me fixed and a couple of weeks later all is back to normal but I'm going to keep going in order to stop the same thing happening again. The staff here are great, they really go the extra mile for you and they are all so cheerful and helpful. Totally recommended.
A friend suggested I go to Anna for help getting back to normal after child birth, I felt my muscles were weak and I was struggling to do things I would normally find no problem. Anna was excellent, she explained all that had happened to me very clearly in a way that I understood and far better than the health visitor or midwife had. She then started me on a programme of treatment to get back to normal and told me almost exactly how long it would take. I wasn't looking for an overnight miracle and knew it would take time but at last someone understood what I needed and was working with me to help me get back to normal. All is now sorted out and I feel great and I totally recommend Anna.
I was a bit surprised when on seeing my GP he suggested that a physiotherapist would be the best person to treat my headache. I'm not a very active or sporty person and I thought that was the sort of people who went to physio. I made an appointment with Anna, hoping I was doing the right thing and from the outset she assured me I was in the right place. She examined me carefully (more than my GP did!) and asked a lot of questions then got to work on my neck and shoulders. I'm not going to pretend for a moment that the experience was pleasant, it wasn't but it did work. Three sessions later and headaches I've had for months have gone. If they come back, I'll know where to go but Anna also gave me some very helpful advice on prevention which so far has worked. I thoroughly recommend the approach and you don't need to see your GP before you make an appointment.
