Salma was so lovely and kind and patient throughout our nearly year long titration period together. She gave me such good advice and tips on taking my medication whilst I observe Ramadan, which was so kind and thoughtful of her. Salma strives to give as much information as possible regarding the medication in a way that is not overwhelming at all. Honestly would recommend every pharmacist is more like Salma, she centres care in every interaction we had, which is so lovely for me. Thank you so much Salma !!!
Responsive , supportive and thorough - felt well looked after
I'm very pleased with the help and care I've received from the pharmacist from Psychiatry. UK. I wish every healthcare practitioner would be so supportive and informative when assisting their patients throughout the treatment.
Salma was prompt and professional, keeping me updated and helping where if struggled to understand.
Salma has been very supportive, informative and helped me through this Titration period diligently and with kindness.
She has been patient with me when I've forgotten to respond to notes or fill forms. Given information regarding 'side quests' of my ADHD experience like supplement recommendations and other medications that might help with my insomnia. Salma has been reassuring when I've expressed being unsure, and responded to questions I've had quickly.
I'm very grateful for Salma! Thank you so much :)

Profile
Hello I’m Salma! I’m a pharmacist and I have been on the register with the General Pharmaceutical Council for 15 years now. I studied at the School of Pharmacy, University of London and graduated in 2005. I registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2006 and I have gone on to gain my Independent Prescribing qualification from Robert Gordon University in 2016 as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice in 2017. I started my career as a pharmacist traveling all over the South East of England as a locum working in a range of different settings, from Methadone clinics to Nursing homes, and more community pharmacies that I can count! I have worked in a London mental health hospital for over five years now where I manage a busy pharmacy. I have gained vast experience with patients in an inpatient and outpatient mental health setting. I have a keen interest in the psychopharmacology of mental health conditions, especially ADHD and I enjoy being a small part of a patient’s journey when undergoing treatment for the first time. When I’m not surrounded by drugs I enjoy baking and clay pigeon shooting.
