This was more or less an "emergency" eye-check, as my vision has deteriorated: it appears I have a fast-growing cataract which has developed or progressed since my scheduled eye-check in July. The optician (Pandeep) prepared a referral for ?laser surgery. She was very throough and helpful.

My previous prescription details were not with the optometrist at the time of the sight test so comparisons could not be made at that time. I received no feedback from the optometrist about my eye pressures or the photo result which I have received on previous sight tests and no information about changes to my vision or any recommendation on the need for a change of glasses. I was left in the waiting area while he was waiting for my previous test notes but did not return so I had to ask the optician staff for information. All very unsatisfactory.
