I didn't really need the appointment in the end and I suspect this was obvious from my initial call. The prescription I got last month was too strong and the optician said no need to check my eyes...and just to use old lenses which is what I had done. I also guessed this was the issue and she just agreed. Despite not being due my next del til Nov she was reluctant to give out more lenses but did agree to order trial lenses to keep me going. Wasn't overly impressed.

Like the on line booking system. If you could have made my glasses up on the day, that would have been great! So Specsavers in Dunfermline made my glasses within 3 hours, I was desperate for them as I had mislaid my only pair of glasses.

Staff were all very friendly and sociable, all very easy to talk to and very informative when I asked any questions. All three staff members were lovely while helping me pick out glasses too!
