Everything was great. Friendly and helpful staff. I was reassured that I wouldn't be waiting long and most staff were very welcoming. After I got my prescription I was trying to pick a pair of glasses and the staff member wasn't overly helpful. She just stood there and looked with me, saying very little. Made me feel uncomfortable so I left. Everybody was dressed differently. Some looked very professional and put together but a few looked unkempt and bedraggled. Also over heard a conversation between two members of staff that made it sound like they forgot to order somebodys prescription and they were trying to figure out the best way to fix this.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgable service with recommendations made to suit my needs. The Optometrist has tested my eyes previously and remembered which is a nice personal touch and made me feel relaxed during the consultation. The assistant who did some of the test and helped me select new glasses was also helpful and knowledgable. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of administrative errors, e.g. The appointment was logged as a contact lens check, but there wasn't actually any impact on my consultation. The sales person explained clearly the costs in purchasing new glasses, and didn't push hard to sell me a feature when I declined. Very professional on the whole.

Fast and efficient service. I was nervous about going for my contact lense appointment as I didn't know if I could bare the thought of sticking my finger in my eye everyday. My opometrist, Sam, put me at ease straight away and talked about all my options which helped me make an informed decision. I'm trailing my new lenses out and so far so good. Couldn't recommend Boots enough, especially Sam and Lorraine.
